The BladeX GEN-195 is a compact everyday carry knife that uses a rotary deployment system instead of a traditional flip or automatic mechanism. The knife is available in two versions. The limited edition model features a Sandvik 14C28N steel blade and a forged carbon fiber handle with luminescent properties. The classic version uses 440C steel and a G10 handle. Both versions share the same CNC machining tolerances, deep cryogenic heat treatment, hand-finished details, and matte exterior. The knife includes a bottle opener, a flint striker, hex wrench sizes, and a locking attachment loop built into the frame.

BladeX designed the GEN-195 to focus on a small set of commonly used tools instead of packing in a large assortment of features. The company tested the mechanism for durability through sand exposure, water resistance, drop testing, torque testing, thermal cycling, and more than five hundred open and close cycles. The knife is produced in a limited run of 2,025 units and aims to offer a precise, compact option for users who want an everyday carry tool that is neither overly tactical nor overly minimalist.
